Let's welcome the first phone with an under-glass fingerprint sensor, Vivo X20 Plus UD. Vivo recently announced this smartphone and has also mentioned when it will be on sale.
One significant announcement made during the CES 2018 that was held 10 days ago was the announcement of the first smartphone to feature an on-screen fingerprint reader. But on 24/01/2018 Vivo had launched the first smartphone with the latest technology. According to Android Authority, “Vivo has been working with US-based sensor maker Synaptics to build an under-glass fingerprint sensor in the front of the phone”. This is what Vivo had designed in its new flagship Vivo X20 Plus UD. This new flagship smartphone is actually a variant of the original X20 Plus having no rear-facing fingerprint sensor.

This flagship device is currently being released in China for now. However, the company has made pre-ordering available since January 24, and no pricing details have been announced.
The Vivo X20 Plus UD flagship device is a 6.43-inch, 18:9 Super OLED display following the current 2160 x 1140 resolution. Just like modern smartphone devices, this Vivo X20 Plus UD comes with a dual camera (12MP + 5MP) on the back, and at the top front of the phone rests a 12MP camera for shooting selfies and making clear video calls.
Under the hood is built a massive 4GB RAM and a
2.2 GHz octa-core processor to give the phone a better performance and avoid slow down.
However, Vivo never officially released the specs of the smartphone, though the Telecommunications certification center of China (TENAA) lists the device with the following:

The Vivo X20 Plus UD is rumoured to sell around USD $624.27 (about 550 EUR).
