What is Essential smartphone company up to with this new decision of theirs? US citizens to enjoy approx. 30% discount off when they purchase the Essential PH-1
There's a price cut of $200 for the Essential PH-1 smartphone in the US, mathematically, this will bring down the smartphone price to $499.
This is something no one would never want to miss, I mean, the price cut is a way too much, in my country Nigeria this should be enough to order one stunning TECNO smartphone.

It's obvious the company isn't getting her estimated number of demand for its first smartphone earlier released a month ago. Essential says bringing up this discount will render the company a huge market demand, enabling the company as a young startup find its way into the market currently being quantified by the likes of other existing companies like Apple, Samsung and the tech-giant Google Smartphones (the Pixel phones)
Indeed this is a good marketing strategy Essential company has decided to work with.
But, if Essential should compensate those willing/planning to purchase the smartphone for the first time, then what should be the reward to those existing customers who already bought the smartphone when the price was still high at $699?
While making up for this giveaway discount, the company also thought of this and making it not to seem so unfair, a deal has also been set up for those existing customers already making use of the PH-1 smartphone.
All existing customers will get ‘friends and family’ credit of $200 which they can use to further discount, though it is limited as it is valid through December 15, 2017.
Now, what should you buy when you already have the phone?
You might choose to purchase another for a friend or family member, or even for yourself if you also want to have the just-released white Essential phone, or just order the 360-camera attachment.
In order to redeem the $200 offer, it was said that customers should sign up on the Essential page using their Esssential smartphone’s IMEI and serial number, and also with the email address they used to make their purchase earlier
In this era of smartphones having their cost price almost equivalent to the cost of purchasing a land in some countries like Nigeria, this is a very good step the Essential company has chosen to take and without any form of doubt, this will indeed boost the sales of its PH-1 smartphone.
