I was scrolling my Facebook news feed yesterday, which brought my focus to a sponsored post by Tecno teasing its new flagship device with the tag #phantom8launch. That lured me to make further research from a reliable source only for me to have found Tecno Phantom 8 had its launch on October 22, the launch event was held in Jumeira Beach Hotel, Dubai.

Having confirmed the news, I have discussed below the official specifications, Release date & Price of Tecno Phantom 8.
Tecno Phantom 8 OS & Processor
The smartphone was made to run on Android Oreo Predecessor, I mean the Android 7.0 Nougat Operating System. I have this feeling that Phantom 8 might get Android 8.0 Oreo update next year.
Inside Tecno Phantom 8 is an Octa-core Chipset, the MediaTek Helio P25 processor with 2.6GHz speed alongside a massive 6GB RAM.
With all these underneath Tecno Phantom 8, will give it a better performance
Tecno Phantom 8 Camera Features
I must say this is where one of its best features is found. Following the trend of smartphones released this year, especially within this fourth quarter of the year, Tecno 8 is one of the smartphones featuring dual rear cameras. It seems imitative & competitive but this Phantom 8 is extremely outstanding with its cameras.

On the back of the smartphone are 12MP+13MP dual cameras featuring Autofocus & Auto refocus (portrait mode) just like iPhone X & iPhone 8. Also is the presence of TRI LED flash. Huawei Mate 10 Pro is not the only smartphone to feature dual rear cameras with night mode feature, Tecno Phantom 8 cameras have it as well. That's not all… also is included in the camera an Auto HDR, superpixel and smart filters.

I'm still wondering why the selfie camera megapixel is higher than that of the rear camera.

There's a lot you can do with Tecno Phantom 8 especially with its connectivities. These include; Fast charging USB Type C (v.3.0), GLONASS GPS, Bluetooth v4.2, as well as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Hotspot for rapid sharing of data and files.
