Samsung Galaxy X- The foldable smartphone coming up in 2018

Samsung to unleash its first foldable smartphone in 2018
The much anticipating Galaxy X image has leaked online, confirming the fact that it will be a foldable smartphone.

Sooner or later, smartphone-producing companies may start looking forward to the making of foldable/bendable smartphones which will generally differentiate itself from other existing straight smartphones in terms of display and design.

Samsung is looking forward to making it real, the company might be first to design and unleash a foldable smartphone next year. I am not certain because Huawei is also preparing its next flagship smartphone to be foldable.

Hopefully, the device might reveal itself during the Las Vegas CES consumer technology show expected to kick off in January 2018, reporting from Bloomberg. We're not certain if this foldable smartphone could be called the Galaxy X, Samsung calls it the SM-G888N0. Anyway, whichever name it should take, let's get to know what the foldable smartphone will look like as well as its specifications rumours so far.

According to rumours being speculated online, the Galaxy X (as we call it) foldable smartphone could feature a 5-inch Super AMOLED mobile screen and rumoured 7-inch tablet display. It was predicted that the Samsung Galaxy X will feature a 4K screen resolution.

Dual Camera
This is one of the latest rumour added to the Galaxy X trend. It may be possible for Samsung to adapt and improve the dual camera feature on the Galaxy X foldable smartphone.

Release Date
No official release date yet as we don't even know when Samsung will send its invitation regarding the launch event of the foldable smartphone. But we are sure the Galaxy X foldable smartphone will be released during the second quarter of 2018 according to reports.

It's said that Samsung will release the foldable smartphone in limited quantity (100,000 handsets) to its home nation, I mean South Korea.
