Xiaomi MIUI 9 Global ROM released- Know its features and list of devices eligible for update

Xiaomi MIUI 9 ROM is the latest ROM version rolling out to Xiaomi smartphones.

A few days back, the Xiaomi company held an event where they made launch the new Xiaomi Redmi Y series, also during the event was announced that the new Xiaomi MIUI 9 Stable Global ROM will start rolling out to Xiaomi smartphones effect from November 3, that means by now the company's smartphones has started receiving the update. Keep in mind that the beta version of MIUI 9 stable ROM has been made available.

So lots of features have been added to this latest MIUI 9 ROM which has made it more qualified than the previous MIUI 8.

The company stated that its MIUI 9 Global ROM owns an improved User Interface (UI) compared to the previous MIUI 8. This will improve the device's performance causing apps to load faster than they used to be.

The MIUI 9 play a vital role in terms of photo editing, making it smart enough. This smart photo-editing feature will enable users to erase unwanted objects from photos.



Arriving with the MIUI 9 Global ROM are 12 sticker sets, 4 of which will be available for Indians only,  which users can use fitly to beautify their photos to their taste.

Better notifications on the go with MIUI 9 Global ROM. Xiaomi says it gets a major reboot in the latest update. Notifications on MIUI 9 will get the multiple styles and quick replies. Also, Xiaomi claimed that notifications on MIUI 9 are closer to stock Android.

Based on Indian customisation on MIUI 9, there will an integration of the Panchang calendar to be part of their native calendar app to display special events like festivals and holidays, etc. That's not all, there's what we call the App Vault feature which creates shortcuts for apps like PayTM, Ola and others. To access this feature, all you need to do is swipe right from your homescreen.
The Split-screen mode for apps has finally come to stay in MIUI 9 plus the availability of animated icons for apps like MI community.
