According to a ZDNet report, Samsung's mobile chief, DJ Koh, made an announcement at a press conference during the Central Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas. He stated that the Galaxy S9 will be revealed during the trade show in Barcelona, Spain, that is the MWC show to hold from February 26 to March 1. The MWC has been the home of Samsung Galaxy S series except for the current Galaxy S8 that was launched at its own Galaxy Unpacked event held in March last year.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and other predecessors got went on sale in April, so according to this makeup history, the Galaxy S9 and probably S9+ might go on sale either in late March or early April, though the exact release date is yet to be known.
