Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) specifications- 16MP+8MP Dual Front Camera, Infinity Display

Samsung launched another flagship smartphone- the Galaxy A8 and A8+, with amazing specifications which will be revealed to you in a short while as you read this post.

Samsung has hit it again! This time, an event give in China where Samsung officially launched it's Galaxy A8 and A8+ flagship smartphones. Hopefully, these two smartphones will be the first to be released in 2018. Samsung says it will start selling both models in early January 2018, though for now there has not announced official pricing.

Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) were made to run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat Operating System. Among them is an Exynos 7885 Octa Chipset, with Octa-core chip having two cores measured at 2.2GHz and six cores measured at 1.6GHz.

Both models will indeed be more user-friendly. The Galaxy A8 (2018) is maintained by a 4GB RAM whereas the Galaxy A8+ (2018) comes in two options- 4GB or 6GB RAM.

The design of these models looks great. Following the modern smartphone design and display technology, the 149.2 x 70.6 x 8.4 mm (5.87 x 2.78 x 0.33 in) Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) weighing 172g is built to have a 5.6-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio and 1080 × 2220 pixels resolution.
The Galaxy A8+ (2018) features a 6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display. The brand has
159.9 x 75.7 x 8.3 mm (6.30 x 2.98 x 0.33 in) dimensions, weighing 191g.

Like every other smartphone released in 2017, the Galaxy A8 (2018) and A+ (2018) are IP68 certified, which means they will be dust and water resistant over 1.5 meter and 30 minutes.

Samsung embedded high-quality cameras on the Galaxy A8 (2018) models, making them eligible in competition with previously released smartphones following the modern day technology.

Capture your exciting moments with a qualitative 16 MP F1.7 rear camera, and the Samsung’s first 16MP+8MP F1.9 Dual Front Camera for shooting high-quality selfies. These cameras work perfectly well irrespective of where you are or what you are doing.

The Dual Front Camera is made up of two separate cameras so you can make use of any of the two to take your desired selfie style. The camera sensors gives users the option to either have a blurred background to form a bokeh effect or have a clean, sharp and focused background to produce sharp pictures even in low light conditions.

Samsung confirmed the existence of a Galaxy A7 (2018) and has got FCC certification

Samsung confirmed the existence of a Galaxy A7 (2018). The device recently got its FCC certification which have made us believe the upcoming Galaxy A (2018) series is no joke.

Just a few days after the official confirmation of the Galaxy A5 (2018), Samsung has confirmed the existence of a Galaxy A7 (2018) to be launched alongside the Galaxy A5 (2018). These two Galaxy smartphones are parts of Samsung’s next-gen smartphones to be unleashed in 2018. Also, the Galaxy A7 (2018) recently had its FCC certification , this means the smartphone will be unleashed just a few months from now.

Just like the Galaxy A5 (2018), the SM-A730F model number for the Galaxy A7 (2018) was seen on Samsung's support page. The support page holds nothing else except their model numbers.

However, there have been leaks of specifications speculating over the internet, with the Galaxy A7 to feature an 18.5:9 aspect ratio Super AMOLED Infinity Display with pretty thin bezels. It is expected to have a 5.7 inches Display size with 1080 x 1920 pixels, 16:9 ratio (~386 ppi density) resolution. An IP68 certification is included on the smartphone, meaning it will be dust and water resistant (over 1.5 meter and 30 minutes)

The Galaxy A7 is said to be powered by the Samsung Exynos 7885 Octa-core Chipset processor and maintained by a massive 6GB RAM unlike the Galaxy A5 (2018) with 4GB RAM.
The smartphone is rumoured to run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS

Same with the Galaxy A5 (2018), the Galaxy A7 (2018) is rumoured to sport a 16MP rear camera and 16MP dual secondary (selfie) camera on the front.

All specifications of the Galaxy A7 (2018) is rumoured to get powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 3600mAh battery.

Samsung silently confirmed the existence of a Galaxy A5 (2018)

Samsung silently confirmed the existence of a Galaxy A5 (2018)

Another Galaxy A series of Samsung has been leaked online. The existence of the new Galaxy A5 was silently confirmed by Samsung via a support page available on its Official South Korean website.

Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy A5 (2018) and Galaxy A7 (2018), meanwhile, some of their specifications have been seen online which we are gonna be discussing today.

Since the bringing of Galaxy Alpha in 2014, Samsung has been launching multiple Galaxy A smartphone models every year and until today, the story continues.

The existence of the new Galaxy A5 was silently confirmed by Samsung via a support page available on its Official South Korean website. On the support page, it added a new version of the Galaxy Alpha model- Samsung SM-A530.

This version is yet unannounced, though everyone believes it will be called the Galaxy A5 (2018) because the previous members of Galaxy Alpha model have similar model numbers- the Galaxy A5 (2017) model number is SM-A520, SM-A510 (A5 2016), and SM-A500 (original A5).

Though, nothing has been revealed about the smartphone on the website. However, rumours have it that the Galaxy A5 (2018) is expected to feature a 5.5-inch screen display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels, 18.5:9 aspect ratio Infinity Display on the front, with pretty tin bezels.
Yes, Samsung Galaxy A (2018 edition) smartphone models will feature the Infinity Display, though the Galaxy A5 (2018) may not be curved, perhaps Samsung is preserving that for a high-end model. On the Galaxy A5 (2018), the fingerprint is better positioned on the back, though it's still a little close to the camera.

Both the Galaxy A5 (2018) and Galaxy A7 (2018) sports a 16MP primary (rear) and secondary (selfie) cameras. Their primary cameras feature a f/1.8 aperture, autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR.

The Galaxy A5 (2018) is expected to run on Android 8.0 Oreo OS and be powered by a mid-range Samsung Exynos 7885, as well as 4GB RAM for better performance.
This should be the same for the Galaxy A7 (2018) except the presence of 6GB RAM it is rumoured to have.

The Galaxy A (2018) series may likely be officially unveiled in the first month of 2018.
